All communications are highly confidential.
Taking a break and enjoying personal time during the day is a crucial step in managing the stress of caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.
The Navigator Adult Day Program (ADP) offers a safe and supportive environment for individuals with Alzheimer’s or dementia while providing caregivers with much needed time for themselves to run errands, go to appointments, see friends or simply rest.
What can families and participants expect?
- Disease-specific, cognitively stimulating activities and programs provided by professionally trained Waveny staff
- Socialization with peers
- Quiet space for independent activity and rest
- Light breakfast and multi-course lunch
- Transportation through local resources
- Monday thru Friday scheduling
- 9:30am-3:30pm
- full- and half-day options
What care needs and levels of support are provided?
- General supervision
- Light personal care including bathroom assistance
- Meal set-up, supervision and cueing
- Guided activities with Waveny’s Therapeutic Recreation team

Our Alzheimer’s and dementia Navigators are here to help, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
