COVID-19 Response

To prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health has directed that all Chronic & Convalescent Nursing Homes & Rest Homes with Nursing Supervision impose restrictions on all visitors except in end-of-life care situations. While we understand the important role that family members and visitors play, the new policies aim to balance the needs of residents while maintaining a safe environment for all.

To protect the health of our residents, All Waveny Properties will be closed to visitors until further notice from government health authorities. This includes our Care Giver Support Group, Adult Day Program and Outpatient Rehabilitation Program.

If you have any further questions regarding The Village at Waveny, please call Lynn Iverson, Campus Administrator, at 203.594.5422; for the Care Center, please contact Claudia Katz, Director of Nursing, at 203.594.5325 or for the Inn, please call Terry Henry, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, at 203.594.5308.
